About C-A-L Ranch

C-A-L Ranch began as “C-A-L Stores” in 1959, founded by Clint, Allen, and L. Wayne Murphy in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where we still keep headquarters today. What began as a single-store operation has grown into 34 locations, from dry desert valleys to snowy peaks and high-mountain plains. We take pride in continuing how we began—with community roots, legendary service, and by bringing you “darn near everything for LESS.”

We know how a simple bag of feed can keep a homestead running smoothly. Or how a warm pair of boots can ease you into a wet, chilly morning. We raise animals, move pipe, turn wrenches, and dress to the nines for the rodeo too. We hunt, fish, and enjoy the great outdoors—and we’re willing to get our hands dirty to get things done.

Happy Paws & Humane Society Pet Events

Pets are family here at C-A-L Ranch, and we love teaming up with humane societies to spread some love to furry friends in need. Be it hosting a food & toy drive, rounding up at the register to support local shelters, or organizing one of our weekend Happy Paws adoption events, the opportunities are endless to help a furry friend at your local C-A-L Ranch store.

4-H, FFA & Jr. Rodeo

Our youth are the future of agriculture, and we are honored to aid their organizations. You can find us hosting free move-in day BBQs at the local county fair, purchasing at market auctions, supporting conventions and clinics, and evolving our Show Animal Discount Program to better serve our youth on an annual basis.

Food Banks

One of our C-A-L Ranch core values is to serve our community. Assisting our local food banks is an annual tradition that is near and dear to us. Keep an eye out for our holiday food drive, where you can join us in raising donations and collecting supplies that help the folks right here at home. We know our towns sometimes need support beyond the holidays, so you’ll see us promoting at grand openings and events throughout the year.
